Background verification

Know exactly who is in the house.

Background verification confirms a caregiver is who they claim to be — identity, record and history — before they ever enter a patient’s home. It’s the single biggest fear in home care, and the one thing a small agency can’t check on its own.

We do it differently. Our verification is carried out by ex-servicemen — people trained to investigate, assess character and follow a lead to the ground, not just tick a database.

Why ex-servicemen

A database check tells you a name. A trained investigator tells you a person.
Our verifications are run by ex-army personnel who bring discipline, judgment and field investigation skills to every check. They don’t stop at what a form says — they go to the ground, read the people, and surface what a purely digital check would miss.

Two levels of verification

Most stop at KYC. We go to the village.

Traditional background verification confirms the paperwork. Ours confirms the person — by talking to the people who actually know them.

The standard check

Traditional verification

What most services provide — a documentary check that confirms identity on paper and little beyond it.

A step further

Comprehensive verification

Everything in the standard check, plus a real investigation into who the caregiver is and where they come from.

For every provider

One portable badge, carried between agencies.

We verify caregivers from any home care company, nursing bureau or clinic — not only our own. A verified caregiver carries a Sumkrish badge that any provider can trust, so the same check doesn’t have to be repeated at every new job.

For an agency, this means faster onboarding and one consistent standard of trust. For a caregiver, it means a credential they own and can show anywhere. For a family, it means the person at the door has already been checked to the ground.

Important — scope of verification
Sumkrish verification confirms a caregiver’s records, identity and background to the best of the information available at the time of the check. It is a verification of records and history, not a guarantee of future conduct. Sumkrish is not liable for any loss, theft, damage, injury or other incident that may occur at a patient’s home or elsewhere, whether caused by a verified caregiver or any other party. Providers and families remain responsible for supervision and for their own engagement with the caregiver.
